Lisa Archambeau is a gallery consultant for the Caldwell Snyder Gallery that operates in San Francisco and St. Helena, and President of the Alliance for Contemporary Art, a non-profit arts organization. She sits on the Collections and Acquisitions Committee at the Sonoma County Museum. She has almost 20 years of museum and gallery experience including 10 years in New York City with institutions such as The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Museum of Modern Art and The Pace Gallery NYC. She holds a BA in art history from the University of Redlands and an MA in contemporary cultural theory from New York University in NYC. She also did a year-long independent study of Greek art in Athens and a year abroad at University College London. She is a fifth generation Sonoma County native and lives in Santa Rosa with her husband and two children.
